Reserve RD1 One-Piece Carbon Cockpit
Built for riders chasing speed without unnecessary weight, the Reserve RD1 Integrated Carbon Handlebar & Stem combines aerodynamic shaping, lightweight carbon construction and race-focused ergonomics in a clean one-piece cockpit.
Designed for fast road riding, criterium racing and high-speed group rides, the RD1 integrates the handlebar and stem into a single carbon structure for precise steering response and a streamlined front end.
With weights starting at approximately 301 g, the RD1 provides a lightweight cockpit solution while maintaining the stiffness and control demanded by performance-focused road cyclists.
Aerodynamic Race Design
The flattened carbon profile is shaped to reduce frontal drag and create a clean transition between rider and bike.
Reserve wind-tunnel testing found the RD1 to be 29 seconds faster over 40 km than the other handlebars included in its test comparison, giving performance-focused riders another way to reduce aerodynamic losses.
A narrow, compact cockpit position helps create an efficient race posture without sacrificing control when moving into the drops.
Compact & Controlled Geometry
The RD1 uses modern road-racing geometry with:
- 75 mm reach for a compact hood position
- 125 mm drop for easy transitions between riding positions
- 6° flare for additional stability in the drops
- -6° stem angle for a low, performance-oriented cockpit position
The combination is designed to feel responsive during sprinting and cornering while remaining comfortable for longer road rides.
Fully Internal Cable Routing
Brake hoses and compatible electronic drivetrain wiring can be routed internally through the cockpit for a clean, aerodynamic front end.
The RD1 is optimized around the Acros ICR system with a 52 mm upper headset bearing, while additional routing solutions are available for selected systems.

Compatibility
The RD1 is designed around a standard round 1-1/8" steerer tube.
It is optimized for Acros ICR headset systems using a 52 mm upper bearing and can also be adapted to selected alternative routing systems with the appropriate components.
Important: The RD1 is not compatible with D-shaped or other non-round steerer tubes. Always confirm headset, steerer and cable-routing compatibility before ordering.
