Built for riders who want an exceptionally light cockpit without sacrificing comfort or control, the Roval Alpinist Cockpit II Integrated Carbon Handlebar & Stem brings race-level performance to climbing, endurance riding and fast road cycling.
Constructed from high-modulus carbon fiber, the one-piece design integrates the handlebar and stem into a clean, lightweight cockpit weighing approximately 270 g in the 400 mm × 100 mm configuration.
The Alpinist Cockpit II combines responsive handling with refined ergonomics, making it an ideal upgrade for performance-focused road bikes where low weight and long-distance comfort matter equally.
Lightweight Performance
At approximately 270 g, the Alpinist Cockpit II is designed to keep front-end weight to a minimum while maintaining the stiffness and steering precision expected from a premium carbon cockpit.
Its one-piece construction also creates a clean, streamlined appearance compared with a traditional separate handlebar and stem setup.
Designed for All-Day Comfort
The redesigned D-shaped tops provide a broad and supportive hand position for climbing and long periods on the tops.
Roval developed the shape using Retül and Body Geometry fit data, with the goal of reducing pressure on the hands and improving comfort during longer rides.
Compared with the previous-generation design, the tops provide approximately 12% more surface area.
Roval also reports 28.3% greater damping than the Rapide cockpit, helping absorb road vibration while maintaining precise handling.
Compact Race Geometry
The Alpinist Cockpit II uses compact road geometry for comfortable and efficient transitions between the hoods and drops.
